Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Your Right to Opt Out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"), you have the right to direct TighterWallet not to "sell" or "share" your personal information. You also have similar rights under the privacy laws of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Florida, and Oregon, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. This page allows you to exercise those rights.
What this opt-out does: If you submit the request below, we will stop sharing or selling your personal information to our third-party advertising partners and, if applicable, stop sharing your lead data with new partner providers going forward. This opt-out does not cancel contacts from providers with whom you have already been matched. To opt out of communications from a specific provider, please contact that provider directly, and also submit a request via our Unsubscribe / Preference Center to stop future contact from TighterWallet.
How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
You can exercise your opt-out and other privacy rights in any of the following ways:
- Online form. Submit an opt-out through our Unsubscribe / Preference Center. Select "All Communications" to opt out of all channels.
- Email. Send a message to support@tighterwallet.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and include your full name, email address, and (if applicable) the phone number you provided to us.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information.
- Authorized agent. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require written authorization and verification of identity before processing an agent request.
Other Privacy Rights
In addition to the right to opt out, you may have the right to:
- Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@tighterwallet.com. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days as required by law. In some cases we may need an additional 45 days and will notify you if we do.
Verification
To protect your personal information, we will verify your identity before processing a deletion, correction, or right-to-know request. Verification typically involves confirming information you provided to us at the time of your original submission, such as your name, email address, and phone number. We will not require you to create an account in order to submit a request.
