Sample wallets, calculators, and guides do not require contact information.
Your data belongs to you.
Effective production terms require legal, security, provider, retention, and consumer rights review. This page explains the product boundary demonstrated in this MVP.
The short version
Authorization to preview a consumer report does not authorize marketing partner sharing.
You review the selected categories and exact data package before sharing.
Identity data used for payout verification is not marketing lead data.
What may be shared after you ask for help
Our typical call to action is “Help me with this problem.” After you select it, review the fields, choose a partner category, and consent, the limited match profile may be sent to Pingtree's Marketplace to find an opportunity.
- Name and contact information
- Broad income and credit range
- The financial problem and product category you selected
- Consent and request tracking information
What is not marketing lead data
- Birthday and one time verification code
- Consumer report PDF and account level details
- Bank credentials, passwords, and complete account numbers
- Government identification and KYC verification evidence
Demo boundary
This HBS prototype uses fictional information and browser state. It does not submit a lead, access a credit bureau, report rent, verify identity, place a phone call, or send a payout.
Production requirements
Before launch, TighterWallet must publish the effective privacy policy, data retention periods, service providers, state privacy rights, request methods, security practices, consent records, partner disclosures, reward rules, and dispute process.
